Tahini Cauliflower


Yogurt Dip:
  • 0.75 C Greek yogurt
  • 0.25 C tahini
  • 0.75 tsp ground cumin
  • 4 tsp olive oil
  • 4 tsp lemon juice
  • salt and pepper

  • Cauliflower:
  • 1 large cauliflower, broken into large florets, discard woody stems
  • 1 C all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbs turmeric
  • 2 C vegetable oil

  • Combine all ingredients for the dip. Wisk together or use a food processor.

    Place the flour, salt, and turmeric in a bowl and stir until combined.

    Place the oil in a wok or frying pan and heat over medium heat. Toss a few pieces of cauliflower in a flour mixture, then cook in the hot oil 5-6 minutes until evenly golden, turning often. Drain on paper towel and repeat until all the cauliflower is used. Spoon sauce over cauliflower and serve.
