Forty Garlic Chicken
Put the 40 cloves of garlic in a casserole pan. Add the chicken, salt, pepper, herbs, and liquid.
Cover the casserole pan and cook it in a preheated stove 450F for 1 hour or more depending on the size of the chicken. Baste the chicken one or two times during cooking. Add more liquid as needed.
Serve the chicken and unpeeled garlic, which is very good spread (like butter) on french bread.
