Hot Mulled Cider
- 2 quarts apple cider (without sugar added)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar (to taste)
- 1 tsp whole allspice
- 1 tsp whole cloves
- 1/4 tsp salt
- dash nutmeg
- 3 inches stick cinnamon
Put all ingredients in cider. Bring to boil, then simmer for 20 minutes.
Pour through strainer to remove lumps. Serve with orange wedge and cinnamon stick.
