White cake: Preheat oven to 375F. Grease and flour pans. Mix and sift flour, baking powder, salt,and sugar in mixer bowl. Add shortening, vanilla, milk, and egg whites. Beat 30 seconds on low speed, then 7.5 minutes on high speed. Pour batter into pans. Bake at 375F for:
White Chocolate Frosting: Microwave chocolate and cream in a medium bowl for 1.5 minutes until melted, stirring halfway through. Stir until white chocolate is completely melted. Cool to room temperature. Beat butter and sugar gradually into cooled mixture onhigh speed until light and fluffy.
